SKYCATCHER 800: Scotland

The time had come following manufacture of the 3 season down sleeping bags, to head out onto the trail and test them out. I chose to head up to the Isle of Skye for a wild camp, then over to Loch Assynt.

I had already sent out some samples for folk to test and had nothing but excellent feedback.

Scotland being Scotland, we were treated to a variety on weather on the trip. The Skycatcher provides ultra comfort with its 20D Nylon material, whilst heating up quickly and retaining the heat once fully zipped inside. The silk-like lining ensures ultimate comfort whilst getting down for the night.

Any condensation formed inside your tent which happens to drip onto the sleeping bag does not seep through the fabric and into the down filling. Upon finding such condensation, the bag quickly dried after airing it out for a short while.

The construction and design of our sleeping bag’s neck baffle is to ensure as much heat as possible is retained. Overall, mummy sleeping bags can be claustrophobic, therefore i designed the Skycatcher to have enough width to move around inside the bag/change position and it does just that!

Its an absolutely fantastic down sleeping bag for the money, and we intend to manufacture them in bulk so we can share this great product with you.
